I enjoyed The Proposal by Karin Thompson.
It was an easy read, which kept me engrossed in the lives of Derek and Emily right from the beginning, hoping that everything would all work out. Honestly, I had mixed feelings about the character of Derek's mother. Still, halfway through the story, I changed how I felt for her and became emotionally invested in the best outcome for her, too.
I found it a great read that I would highly recommend! ME

I enjoyed reading 'The Proposal: A Marriage with a Twist!' by Karin Thompson. Once I started reading, I could not stop as I wanted to discover what would happen. There is suspense and fulfillment. I would highly recommend this book. RD

It is such a captivating story that you are eagerly turning the pages. The characters and storyline are so cleverly put together that within minutes of starting the book, you are enthralled with the story and feel as if you have become one with them. I highly recommend this book, part of a beautifully written series. The lighthearted humor and unique events keep you captivated from the beginning to the end. It's definitely another five-star book. This is the 3rd book of Resthaven that I have read. The author has certainly added all types of characters.
I enjoyed her variety of solving each character’s issues. The scenes of the B&B she expressed undoubtedly made them feel real. All three books will be a good read on a rainy weekend. Linda E.

Broken Trust is the story of Jenna, who grew up in an abusive home and left at age 16. She found a shelter and a job. She met Garth, who seemed to love her until her breaking her trust along with her best friend. She loses everything and is homeless, broke, and broken.
She comes up with a plan to improve her life situation but will it work out the way she hopes?
I enjoyed the story. I could feel Jenna’s pain and indecision about how to move on with her life. Her lack of trust in others is understandable and a realistic reaction to not wanting to accept help. This book is well worth reading. Chris K
